Methodology

Methodology

This project summarizes official public-health pages at build time, then renders a static website with visible source links and timestamps.

How updates are gathered

The site checks a small whitelist of official sources, including WHO, CDC, and ECDC, during the build process. It does not scrape arbitrary social posts, random blogs, or unverified media articles into the homepage.

How statements are written

Homepage copy is derived from the public wording on official pages. We aim to preserve dates, source organizations, and any important qualifiers around risk, transmission, or case counts.

What this site is not

This project is not a medical service, not a triage tool, and not a personalized risk assessor. It is an informational public-health summary layer built on top of official sources.
